Tarrus Riley – Love’s Contagious – Ukulele Chorded Melody

This is my ukulele chorded melody version of Tarrus Riley’s “Love’s Contagious”. Essentially, I’m singing the song with my ukulele using chords. I didn’t make the whole way through the song yet because it is 4 minutes and that’s a lot to figure out and remember. I would to sing along with it, but I think that if I where singing it would be better to figure out a more generic style of playing it on the ukulele.

  1. Lovely. One of these days I’ll figure out how to play one of the many ukes we have.

Thank you Sheryl! They say the uke is one of the easiest instruments to learn, but one of the hardest to master. I’ve been taking lessons from Craig Chee and Sarah Maisel at http://artistworks.com/affiliate/55055 for the last several months, but you can definitely learn a good bit just starting on youtube. I would suggest learning chords (C,G,Am, and F) as your first step. A lot of songs use that progression.
